R&D Tax Specialist (Listed: 10 Jan 2019)

Leeds
Permanent, full-time

Owing to rapid expansion, we are looking for an experienced R&D tax specialist to join our expanding team.

Responsibilities Include:
  • To be a knowledge leader, keeping on top of the latest R&D updates and all tax technical issues
  • To produce and review regular R&D tax blogs
  • To innovate and regularly suggest ideas for how we can better, and more efficiently service our client needs
  • Ensure client engagements are completed to agreed schedules and all clients feel fully supported and happy with ongoings

Required Background:
  • Strong academic background and CTA or ACA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Ability to manage a substantial client portfolio
  • Minimum three years experience preparing R&D tax relief claims within a big four environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and experience of dealing with client senior management

R&D Engineering Specialist (Listed: 10 Jan 2019)

Leeds
Permanent, full-time

Owing to rapid expansion, we require an individual who is experienced in an engineering discipline as well as an expert in the R&D tax relief.

Responsibilities Include:
  • To be an industry leader with regards to how the BEIS guidelines apply to your specialist field of engineering
  • To produce and review regular blogs regarding applications of R&D in industry
  • To innovate and regularly suggest ideas for how we can better, and more efficiently service our client needs
  • Ensure client engagements are completed to agreed schedules and all clients feel fully supported and happy with ongoings

Required Background:
  • Strong academic background and educated to degree level within an engineering discipline
  • Minimum two years experience working as a Mechanical, Structural, Civil or Chemical Engineer
  • Minimum three years experience preparing R&D tax relief claims within a big four environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and experience of dealing with client senior management
